The Be – Do – Have of Health

This morning as I was sitting down to write I was reminded how easy it is to focus on things we should be doing for positive outcomes instead of addressing our belief system.  Applying that thought to health, I came up with this:

The Health "Be Do Have"

Do you have any beliefs about health to share?  Any you need to discard?  Leave them in the comments so we can continue the discussion.

  1. Great notes bro! I believe God commands us to be stewards of our bodies so we need to be careful to have a healthy lifestyle. It means to watch what we eat and to take time to exercise.

    1. I agree Dan. The Bible reminds us that we were bought at a price, and therefore we should honor God with our body.

That being said, poor physical health will also impact your spiritual health. You’ll have less time and energy to fulfill your mission / great commission

  2. I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on vaccines and how they fit into this “Be-Do-Have” philosophy.

    1. I’ll work on that Kim. Here’s some info to tide you over in the meantime:

There is new research out of Germany (Sept 2011) demonstrating that vaccinated children have at least 2 to 5 times more diseases and disorders than unvaccinated children. The KIGGS in blue represent disease instances in vaccinated children versus the red representing unvaccinated children. It appears that vaccinated children are significantly more likely to develop health challenges. Also, over 99% of the parents who chose to completely unvaccinate their children were happy with their decision.
